I was born in India in 1991.
At age 5, because of my dad, I got access to something others my age could only dream of.... a computer.
My dad wrote the first computer program at his college in the 1980s.
So in the 90s he became the go-to computer expert at his company.
Which allowed me to get my hands on a computer at age 5... something most kids could only dream of.
Then in 1996
We moved from India → Norway
Then I got on the Internet... 🤯
At age 9, I went from being a consumer to a creator.
It started with creating silly Pokemon movies in Microsoft Powerpoint.
But from that point on I was obsessed. Every day after school I'd spend hours learning software.
This was before YouTube—I had to learn through experimentation and library books.
By 2005, I had taught myself...

With Hoda Camps, I want to inspire kids around the world to get comfortable with the computer and start using it to build their own games, create their own videos, code their own apps.
I want every student to leave my camps inspired because an entirely new world has opened up to them.
